Joint Statement from the European Assembly for a Just Building Transition
Architects for Future Germany is a part of the European Network for a Just Building Transition, and currently supports it through its coordination role from 2025. We get to know each other, exchange experiences between countries, talk about political advocacy at the European level, organise skill-sharing and coordinate social media communications.
The 2nd European Assembly for a Just Building Transition in Frankfurt / Main (21–23 November 2025) brought together over 15 organisations and initiatives from across Europe working towards a systemic transformation of the building sector. Subsequently, we have collaborated on a statement defining the political direction of this movement.

We’re excited to host the 3rd Assembly in Prague, 29-31 May, to plan collective actions and next steps for this movement.
One of the network’s first flagship activities will be this year's European Action Week, 5th - 13th September 2026. A decentralised festival of local actions, gathering and events exploring how we want to live, build and shape our communities and built environment. This is open to anyone, individual or organised! We have recently launched the open call - Head to this page for more info and get involved.
